The 2008 Fareham Council election took place on 1 May 2008 to elect members of Fareham Borough Council in Hampshire, England. Half of the council was up for election and the Conservative party stayed in overall control of the council.〔(【引用サイトリンク】 Fareham )〕 After the election, the composition of the council was *Conservative 22 *Liberal Democrat 9 ==Campaign== Before the election the Conservatives held 22 seats compared to 9 for the Liberal Democrats, with the Conservatives having run the council for the previous 9 years.
